CO-OP ATMs

The CO-OP Network gives you surcharge-free access to YOUR money! Through NAPUS Federal Credit Union participating in the CO-OP Network, you now have access to your money at more than 20,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the United States and Canada. In addition, over 5,000 of these ATM machines will offer deposit services.
What is a surcharge?
Many banks impose a “convenience” fee for using their ATMs, typically $1.50 or more. In fact, it’s getting harder and harder to find surcharge-free ATMs – unless you are a NAPUS FCU cardholder who has surcharge-free access to ATMs across North America displaying the CO-OP Network logo.
Who belongs to the CO-OP Network?
Only credit unions belong to the CO-OP Network, which means more than 23 million credit union members across the U.S. have the CO-OP Network logo on the back of their Debit cards.
Because NAPUS FCU is part of the CO-OP Network, what privileges do I have?
Members of credit unions participating in the CO-OP Network receive surcharge-free access to 20,083 conveniently located ATMs in the United States (all 50 states), Puerto Rico and Canada. Many of these ATMs offer deposit-taking services (approximately 5,000).
How do I find a CO-OP Network ATM?
The 20,000+ CO-OP Network ATMs are located at participating credit unions, as well as in airports, malls, shopping centers, movie theatres, grocery stores, department stores, etc. Just look for the CO-OP Network logo on the ATM or use the CO-OP link on our website home page to locate the closest participating ATM to your zip code.
Can I go into the participating Credit Union in my local area and transact business with a teller?
No. Currently, this service is only for ATM use. We are researching this option, known as “share branching” and may offer this service in the future.
When I use the ATM Locator to find the closest ATM, what do the terms Restricted Area, Business Hours Only, Walk-up, and Deposit Taking mean?
