Has held numerous State and National positions in NAPUS, culminating as National President, 1982-83; active in various community and church organizations requiring fiduciary responsibility.

Received J.D. degree from Loyola School of Law, Los Angeles. Following retirement from the USPS, maintained private law practice in labor law until 1998.

Retired Postmaster, Kalamazoo, MI with 36 years Postal and 4 years US Navy. Postal experience includes 23 years as Postmaster (4 offices), Postal Auditor, Mgr Finance, and MSC Director Finance. Has held many State and National positions in NAPUS, culminating as National Secretary/Treasurer 1991-92. Has degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University and Diploma in Accounting.

A 34-year member of the Brussels Woman’s Club, 6 years as Treasurer, 8 years as President and now in second term as Secretary. In 12th year as Secretary/Treasurer, St. Matthew Church LWML/Dorcas Society. Currently in 6th year as Secretary to Board of South Calhoun Retirement Center.

Served as Postmaster in Clanton, Alabama for 32 years. Serves on Board of Directors of the Peoples Bank in Clanton, Alabama. Former NAPUS AL State President, National Vice President, National Executive Committeeman, and member of National Representation Committee and National Membership Chairman for six years.

Board Member since 1995. Prior U.S. Postal Service positions include Clerk, City Letter Carrier, Customer Services Supervisor, and Postmaster of Shelbyville, KY. Past National President of NAPUS and has been a member since first becoming a Postmaster in 1976. Has served NAPUS in many other national and state positions including National Vice President, KY Chapter President, KY State Editor, Postmaster Rep, KY Scholarship Committee, and National Membership Chairman. Serves as a deacon in his local Baptist Church and is active in his community. Selected as Postmaster of the year in KY in 1982 and as Eastern Region Postmaster of the Year in 1991.
